The other morning Talvyn woke me up and wanted me to get out of bed to make his usual oatmeal. I layed in bed trying to stretch out time by talking with him about being royalty (son of God) and I told him that I was a princess. In reply Talvyn said, "No you're not. You are not pretty. You need to put on a dress and some make-up first." Glad to know I don't look good enough for my child in the mornings.

The nursery is finally finished. Trevor painted the crib and the changing table black. I did all of the wall decorations and organizing. My wonderful and very talented mother-in-law sewed the curtains, bedspread, and bumper pad. This project turned out way better than I expected. I know that Talvyn and Daxtyn probably don't and won't care, but mommy sure is happy to have such a cute little room.
My bedroom is one of my favorite places in my house. I like the really clean look and clean color scheme. It is very relaxing to me. Since I have been home this past week I've spent a lot of time cleaning it (dusting, washing bedding and curtains, etc.), but I have one blank wall that bugs me. I want to put something on it, but am not sure of what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?
Yesterday Talvyn stayed the night at my sister's house. When he got up in the morning he told my sister and her family that he was worried about his mommy. They asked him why and he said that he was worried that I was going to get struck by lightning if I went outside. My child is so imaginative.

I am still waiting. I went to the doctor today and there was no change from last week to this week (still a 2 and need to be a 3). I hate waiting! On the the positive side, yesterday was my last day of school. I took nine days of maternity leave. Hooray!!!
I have been a little bit worried about some of the dangerous activities Talvyn likes to attempt lately. After a conversation with me attempting to explain the outcome of some of his fiascos (I told him that he could die), he said, "that is OK I can be resurrected." He then told me that Jesus died and he was resurrected and he would be too. I commend his knowledge, but wish that death scared him a little bit more.

We are now playing the waiting game. I am scheduled for a c-section on the 27th of May, but I have already begun to dilate. I have another appointment on Thursday morning, so we will see how far I am then. The doctor told me that if I am a 3 or 4 then they will start me then. Hopefully I can make it through this week and last until next week.
