Volleyball

I am back in the gym again. After taking the past two years off from the world of coaching I am back at it. Here is a list of some of the things that have happened thus far:
-I ran 15 open gyms this summer
-I held 2 camps this summer (with help from some of my great coaching staff)
-Had try-outs on the 15th, 16th, & 18th (made cuts that day--yuk)
-Was puked on (my leg) by one of the girls running the mile
-Had many girls vomit from being out of shape
-Had a JV girl quit
-Practicing hard
-Running new offenses and defenses that I haven't ever coached before because my team is really short

For a warning I will be in my own little world for the next little while. I will try to remind myself that there is another world out there that I need to stay in contact with.

Big Smiles

Daxtyn will be three months old on the 27th. He has the sweetest personality. He smiles, talks (babbling noises), and mimics. He is grabbing objects and trying to stick things into his mouth. He loves having his diaper changed. He shows that he loves his family by giving gigantic smiles when he sees them, like the one in the above picture.

Lego Mania

Talvyn loves Legos! I have been meaning to take pictures of items as he builds them, but just haven't gotten around to it. Here is a picture of his latest creations (The Tumbler and the Joker's Ice Cream Truck).

The Living Planet Aquarium

Dina and I decided to visit our sister, DeAnna, in Utah. We spent 6 days there cleaning, organizing, and shopping. We also decided to take all of the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. Here are the pictures of that adventure.

Photo Shoot

We recently got to visit our good friends and cousins Darrec and Tiniel. Tiniel is an amazing amateur photographer. Here are some of my favorite pictures that she took of our family.

The Release

Do you have any idea of what these people are standing in line for at Wal-Mart? It is the midnight release of Breaking Dawn. My sisters and I were at Wal-Mart shopping and wondered what was going on. We left at midnight just in time to witness the line beginning to get huge and the parking lot speedily filling up. Before we exited we watched as Wal-Mart employees brought out three pallets of the book. It was nuts!
